Does anyone know if there exist libraries for use with Wavelet Transform
image compression. I know that JPEG libraries are well developed and easily
accessible but I haven't heard anything about Wavelet Transform encoders.
Perhaps people are waiting for the ITU standard (good luck!).
I figured that as an emerging technology Linux users would probably be one
of the first to know about it (nothing like flatterring yourself).
I have some routines in static library form which I wrote but I'm trying to
find out if there are other (possibly more comprehensive) libraries out there.

TIA

Rich
