Debian won't print

Hi there,
I hope someone out can help me. My problem is: I can't get my printer to
work under Debian 2.0 (and it worked fine under RH5.0). I have a Minolta
PagePro 6 (supports PCL5e, so I can emulate HP LaserJet 4P). I've tried
using magicfilterconfig and choosing the HP LaserJet 4 (in lack of a 4p),
but there is no response whatsoever.
If any on you know how to get it to work, I'd be mighty grateful!
