try ppp- setup. it's been a while since I used ppp, but I do remember it was
on sunsite, and basically you enter you information into it through dialogs.
It then updates your config files, and makes a ppp-up script and a ppp-down
script. Or use linuxconf, this might be over kill, but it let's you maintain
far more things on your linux box.
