Well, obviously some people got further than me... I tried installing staroffice 5.0(1?) on linux 2.0.33 running (primarily redhat 4.2) and it filled up /tmp, erased everything and then nothing... (I cleaned up tmp to give myself 28 mbyte of free space). I installed the glibc libraries in a special path and then did LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/special/path ./setup I've run 4.0 on this system...
