Hi, there, fellow Applixware-ites!
I've just purchased Applixware for Linux (version 4.4.1) and in general I
think it's great. It's quite speedy, and there's lots of little features that I
like (like the "twiddle" key in Words). But I'm having problems with Exports.
First, the advertising (website, etc) says that Words exports MS-Word 6 and
I believe 7(95) as well. But what is does is export RTF, which MS-Word can
read. I DON'T accept that exporting in a format that Word can read is
equivalent to exporting Word format!
My big problem, though, is exporting from Spreadsheets. I can't. If I try to
export even a blank sheet, to any format, even ASCII, it says: "SSExport:
Conversion Failed". Am I missing a file? Incorrect setup?
My system is sort-of Slackware 3.2, with 2.0.33 kernel and 5.4.44 libc,
running on Pentium 133 with 32MB RAM.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated - I need to export spreadsheets!
