LyX font problems

  Anyone else having problems with binary distributions of LyX-0.12.
I have -linux-ix86-libc5 version.
  I'm getting errors which look like there's a mistake in the font naming 
process somewhere, ie. font names with "--" instead of "-*-" in some of the 
options.
  Eg.
  "-adobe-times-medium-r--19-..."
instead of
  "-adobe-times-medium-r-*-19-..."

  I can't find any configuration for altering this.

  Anyone know a way around this without recompiling?
