Been having a time trying to get Sendmail 8.8.8 /or/ 8.9.3, to work
with FEATURE(genericstable) support.. Have tried BerkeleyDB273;
db1.85 and gdbm1.7.3 with various disasters.. I'll keep trying but I
have one query the books/docs/manuals do not mention:
As I try these various schemes of rewriting an envelope address, how
can I check to see if what I've done is OK?? Can I do this without
sending the message by looking at the qf file in /var/spool/mqueue?
Will viewing that file tell me what I want to know? Or does the
rewrite happen only when the message is sent? As a dial up PPP site I
don't generate unnecessary traffic by using the queue.
