Does anyone know of a way to send instructions to a HP4000 series laser printer to make it turn on the 1200dpi (ProRes) functions from Linux, either as PCL or postscript commands or pre print-job commands? The printer is running under a SMB LAN manager type setup (ie. domain controller print spooler for NT network). TIA Rich
