Windows can boot from the second hard disk assuming the first has
something other than Windows or Dos installed...
You need to tell Lilo where Windows is... [and Tell Lilo it's dos]
I believe liloconfig will do the job [at least from Slackware]
Or edit /etc/lilo.conf and add something like:
other = /dev/hdc1
label = Dos
table = /dev/hdc
then run lilo

Even though most linux manuals recomend against it yes...
[There is something of an "Os ego" where the favoret os MUST be on the
first partition on the first hard disk... this is rarely nessisary]
Windows will install it's boot information on the hard disk it's installed
on... Not a problem... Lilo will do the job for you :)
[Also works when installing Os/2.. Os/2 can boot Windows from any hard
disk... or Linux can boot Os/2 from any hard disk... or Dos can boot
Linux from any hard disk...]
Sorry if I'm over explainning :) I've gotten use to simi-litterate BBS
users who need some small amount of hand holding... On the other hand
I wouldn't last 10 seconds on a tech support floor....
