Not to be glib, but one reason you don't see many "simple" programs like this,
is they are so easy to write. I have something for printing one up labels that
reads a pipe delimited file and prints X number of one up labels. It is about
12 lines of shell script. I can send it to you if you like, but posting
something like that to freshmeat would be a rather comical event.
