PPM Conversion??

Greetings:  Have tried most of the search engines trying to find a
program to convert from ppm to gif and/or jpeg.. There is a scheme
somewhere, I've heard, ppmtogif, but I cannot seem to find it..

Rather than tie up so much bandwidth - does someone know off the top
of their head??
