Hello
I think this is the right place to ask about the Armulator, if not please
excuse me .

I am using the Armulator that comes with gdb-4.18 with the Ben Williamson's
patch to it (gdb-4.18-benw-5.patch) .
I am not sure whether the gdb-5.0 has the same Armulator or an updated one .

The kernel I am using is 2.2.1 with the following patches,
        patch-2.2.1-rmk2
        philb-990208
        crash26
        cb26-ben2

I also use bootsim-3 for the loader and ROM image

I use the busybox in the initrd .

I am using the Armulator for emulating the chip EP-7211

I am able to boot the kernel and use most of the commands on the Armulator, but
sometimes I get a "Old system call" error when I try to run some binaries on it .

I tried using tools chains from the Compaq site

http://crl.research.compaq.com/projects/personalserver/sw_download.html

and I also used the tool chain built with the instructions given in the Chris Rutter's
site .

But some binaries compiled with one tool chain works and the same application compiled
with a different tool chain gives a old system call error .

It would be very helpful if somebody can give any leads as to how to overcome this or
what the problem could possible be .

Thanks in advance

        Mike
