I meet some problems you have solved when I porting
linux to edb7209.I think you may give me some advice.
I have download a cross-compiler named
arm-linux-cross.tar.bz2 from URL:
http://www.lart.tudelft.nl/lartware/compile-tools/.
I also download linux kernel 2.2.1 from
www.maverickaudio.com. And patch kernel with
jsdiff.gz. I compile kernel in ARM-linux environment.
Lastly, I run make_bin to combine kernel image with
i
nitrd fiel and create a ROM file. I am very glad
that the kernel can run when I download ROM file to
EPD7212. But the kernel is hangup with these messages.
about to start Linuxrc

stand-alone shell (version 3.4)
Linuxrc with PID 4 started
whether some errors happed? what is the errors?
How do you solve this problem?
I have made a program to instead linuxrc.when power
turn on,my progrm can run.I guess that the shell sash
must meet some question?
