Ok.Ill do that.I've downloaded linux-2.4.0.tar.gz. May I know the latest
patche for 2.4 kernal that can be used for clps7500?So for I've been using
2.3.99 and jason's patch.(patch-2.3.99-pre8-rmk2-jgg1)
The site ftp.arm.linux.org.uk/pub/armlinux/source/kernel-patches/v2.4/
has lot of patches.Got confused which one I should use.

Yes.I did tried with this option off.Now compilation stops at..

There is no /linux/driver/char/console.o file.It seems 'make zImage' is
not touching console.c at all.
Is there any other thing that I'm missing.
