I just installed a new kernel (2.4.0 with patch-2.4.0-rmk2 and
diff-2.4.0-rmk2-np2 and default "make assabet_config") on my Assabet and
am trying to get it to work in conjunction with my LP-E CF+ ethernet
card. Everything works fine if I boot up the machine (with Angel) and
then insert the card. However, if I try and boot up the Assabet with
the card already inserted, I get to:

...boot messages...
Based upon Swansea University Computer Society NET3.039

scale: SA-1110 clock scaling initialized, clock speed is 206 MHz

Starting kswapd v1.8

and then the Assabet hangs for a while, and then reboots. Is this a
problem with my specific kernel compilation, or something else?
