I don't know if this is at all related, but here goes:

I'm getting this message every now and then:
PCI: parity error detected:

I'm running an old Corel NetWinder with Linux 2.4.0-test9-rmk1. This
is what /proc/cpuinfo says:
Processor : Intel StrongARM-110 rev 3 (v4l)
BogoMIPS : 262.14
Hardware : Rebel-NetWinder
Revision : 52ff
Serial : 0000000000000776

This started a few days ago, when the machine had been running with an
uptime of about four weeks. The message appears, say, a few times per
hour and seems to be correlated to disk activity. I never saw it before.
