everyone:
Who can tell me what should be done
before running a linux kernel on a arm based handheld.
The handhelds.org has successfully boot linux from
flash on ipaq.Now, I want to boot linux as wince running.That is:
1.prepare a kernel image on CF card.
2.run a program to load the kernel.(cyace for
arm)
3.linux kernel take the control...
And, somebody has done this on mips based handheld.They used
another cyace for mips.
But, when I boot up the kernel, it suspend on
trap_init().Since, the kernel should be right, I think the fault is in the
cyace.Perhaps, the cyace does not prepare all things right for the linux
kernel.
So, I want to know what should be done before the linux
kernel run.Which mode should we use, system or superviser?What are
the contens of those special register?
Please help me!
