I have been attempting to get a BlueCat 3.0 kernel up and running on my
Cirrus EDB7212 board for a while now. I've gotten the Royal Linux image
that comes with the board to boot, but I need to use the FFS that BlueCat
3.0 has.

I have what I think is a BlueCat kernel flashed into my board but when I
boot up, I get the following out my serial port:

<<<Begin output>>>
.Loader with serial interface

OS_Download

Waiting for input!
###############################
<.
<<<end of output>>>

I looks like a bootloader but it doesn't echo any input and after about 10
characters it says:

OS_Downloading error!

My image consists of a linux.rom (I can't find the source) that came with
Royal Linux, the BlueCat 3.0 kernel I compiled, and a ramdisk. Could I be
seeing the linux.rom bootloader looking for a kernel and not recognizing my
kernel? Does anyone have experience with this loader?

Thanks,
John Bahr
