Hi ,
Mouse have a property that whatever character u send
them it will send it back . I was trying to use this
mechanism to find out whether the mouse responds
there.
And I got the below reply. Moreover If I do not move
my
mouse during startup I am getting

Detected PS/2 mouse port
Mouse timed out [1]
Mouse timed out[1]

in the kernel messages as well. If I move the mouse
during bootup these messages do not come in the kernel
messages. I don't know what's wrong.

Thanx ,
Bhupinder
