Has anyone succesfully built kaffe to run on the Assabet, or iPAQ?, and
got it to work?

I've succeeded in building it (config files used for building attached -
these are nearly exactly the same as the default configs that come in
the source tree for use with ipaq), but not in getting it to work...
I've been using the source tree from pocketlinux, both version 1.0 from
the ftp repository, and a checkout i got last week from the pocketlinux
CVS repository.

The version of kaffe built from pocketlinux1.0 segfaults, and also
causes misaligned memory accesses. The version built from CVS just
segfaults... Strangely, the segfaults get caught when i run it under
gdb, but otherwise kaffe doesn't terminate, but just runs until its used
up all available memory - there are 'unhandled page fault' messages
getting printed to the kernel logs while it is running...

I've tried using the kaffe binary from the pocketlinux1.0 distro - it
also causes unhandled page faults on my Assabet - seems to work ok on my
ipaq, but does not print out 'hello world' like i want it to ;(

If anyone has any advice, i'd be really happy to hear it!

cheers
Dunk.
