I was trying on an image downloaded (zImage-2.4.0-rmk2-np1-hh1) from the handhelds.org site and faced this problem ( op attached below) . I also tried run level 1 with the same results. I dont fully understand the boot process (details about the sequence of events) of the ipaq though ive been through the documents on the handhelds.org site and i was wondering if there was a more comprehensive listing elsewhere. Secondly each new kernel that I load on the ipaq do i need to go thru the process of building and loading the 'params' 'root' and 'usr' file systems bin/cp: /mnt/init/tmp: No such file or directory /bin/cp: /mnt/init/var: No such file or directory can't create lock file /etc/mtab~~: No such file or directory (use -n flag to ov erride) can't create lock file /etc/mtab~~: No such file or directory (use -n flag to ov erride) can't create lock file /etc/mtab~~: No such file or directory (use -n flag to ov erride) can't create lock file /etc/mtab~~: No such file or directory (use -n flag to ov erride) can't create lock file /etc/mtab~~: No such file or directory (use -n flag to ov erride) /bin/cp: /mnt/init/dev/*: No such file or directory RAMFS setup complete Cleaning up done and exiting INIT: version 2.76 booting INIT: No inittab file found INIT: can't open(/etc/ioctl.save, O_WRONLY): No such file or directory Enter runlevel: 3 INIT: can't open(/etc/ioctl.save, O_WRONLY): No such file or directory INIT: Entering runlevel: 3 INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
