What's the point in replying to your messages when you can't actually
receive them? It's just a waste of my time ultimately, and I'd rather
not waste my time.
Please note that I'm currently operating, and have been operating for
some time now a "one strike and your out" policy, brought on by the
shere number of broken or badly administered systems out there - this
is becoming a major problem for mailing list administrators to deal with.
This effectively means that if your email address happens to bounce with
a 5xx error code (in other words, a permanent failure) you _will_ without
fail be unsubscribed from these lists. If you resubscribe, and continue
to bounce, and it becomes soo regular that I have your email address
ingrained in my brain, I will prevent you even subscribing to the lists.
If it is a whole domain that is causing the problem, I'll prevent the
whole domain.
Sorry, but if your systems or your ISPs systems aren't able to play
properly on the Internet, don't expect to participate on the Internet.
It's as simple as that.
Luckily, shobhana isn't on any linux-arm related mailing lists, but its
worth pointing out the policy on these lists again.

Why did you hand edit the .config file?
It is not sufficient to merely edit this file to change the configuration
of the kernel. This is more than likely your problem. Follow the
instructions in the README and everything will work.
