Ok, I've just dealt with someone who wanted to unsubscribe from these
lists in a particularly stupid manner:

1. They'd forgotten their subscription password
2. They decided to remove their local account for receiving list email
3. They waited a few months.
4. They complained to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' that they were being
hacked on their SMTP port from the list server.

Unsubscribing is easy:

1. Go to the list info page:

  http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/linux-arm
  http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/linux-arm-announce
  http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/linux-arm-kernel

2. Scroll to the bottom.
3. Enter your email address which receives mail from these lists into
the box beside the 'Edit options' button.
4. Hit 'Edit options' button.
5. In the second section of this page, there is a section titled

       "Your linux-arm Password"

6. Hit the 'Email my password to me' button.
7. Wait for the password to arrive.
8. Scroll back to the top of this page, and find the section titled

       "Unsubscribing from linux-arm"

9. Enter the password that was sent to you into the box between

       "Password:" and the "Unsubscribe" button.

10. Hit the "Unsubscribe" button.

You will now be unsubscribed from the selected mailing list. Repeat for
any other mailing lists you are on.

If you already know your password, you can skip steps 5 to 7. Note that
your password is mailed to you on the 15th of each month as well.

--- Thanks, we now return you to your normal programming. ---
