Hi,
I guess this has been asked a thousand times but with the rise of ELF
perhaps the answer has changed. I'm just asking what web browsers have been
successfully compiled to run under ARMLinux? I'm currently using lynx and
chimera - though they're both a bit naff. Can anyone recommend anything
better? Is Mozilla a likely possibility in the near future?
Also, can anyone recommend any nice X mail programs? I'm using PINE which is
pretty good though I've been brought up on the likes of !Messenger and so
expect far too much :)
With respect to compiling things, how much is required (or simply a good
idea) that's not in the base distribution (ie the RPMS tree)? I've managed to
compile a kernel, pine and pico but BitchX and Arena both don't like me. Is
it likely I'm doing something wrong/missing something or do they just not
work under RiscPC ARMLinux yet?
Thanks for answers to my inane questions,
Tom
