Matthew Wilcox has done some work on installing ARM Linux without having to
repartition -- have a look at
<http://users.ch.genedata.com/~mrw/armlinux/initrd/>. Unfortunately, the
pre-compiled kernels that are around don't support this (IIRC), so if you
can't compile a kernel you're stuck. Matthew, could you possibly upload a
kernel that will work with your initrd somewhere?
