Greetings,
I have a custom ebsa285-like board running Linux 2.2.5 with the latest
2.2.5-rmk patchset. I have also dowloaded the debian boot image
(debian-image_990220) since the board is diskless and will use NFS for
all it's filesystems. I have untarred the debian image, modified the
appropriate files for operation (fstab, hostname, hosts, etc.). The
problem is my board boots into runlevel 2, and then seems to pause
there, eventually printing this out:
INIT: Id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "2" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "3" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "4" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "5" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "6" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel
Here is the bootup sequence after the kernel has mounted the root
filesystem read/write over NFS:

I have it setup to boot -s for now, and I then enter multi-user mode.
What appears to be happening is it is stuck looking at the
/etc/localtime link, which is valid. Anybody have any ideas on what
exactly is going on here? Thanks!
