I'm building PERL, and notice it has a bundle of architecture-specific
directories. Question is what to do with these -- shall I leave them
named `armv4l-linux', or rename them to `arm-linux'. Shall I additionally
include a symlink from `armvn[lb]-linux' to `arm-linux' in the RPM?
Should there be a mailing list contrived to discuss this? I feel a
definitive document needs to be written on the organisation and deployment
of the ARM target naming scheme.
