Can you describe that better?  Do you mean that you still have a stable
picture on the screen, but it's just a mess of multi-coloured pixels, or
do you mean that the monitor becomes unstable?

No - it might use some of the spare video RAM while loading, but it will
only run from within the first bank of the DRAM memory.
