AFAIK, there is Thumb support in the latest unstable version of gcc.
You can get a current gcc snapshot on ftp://egcs.cygnus.com/snapshots/ .
You can also get the latest CVS version of gcc. Information about it is
available at http://gcc.gnu.org/ .
I have really no idea if a thumb-compiled userspace works.
