George et al.,
I apologize for the long delay getting back to you on this. First of all,
let me say thanks for the Corelis info. FWIW, we purchased a Corelis probe
kit (about a year ago) and discovered that it won't fit on an unmodified
EBSA 285 board. Specifically, two DIMM sockets/boards sit right next to the
SA-110 TQFP, and they restrict the horizontal clearance around the SA-110 so
much that it's impossible to mount the Corelis probe to the top of the CPU.
I was wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to this problem. (We
are currently considering removing (i.e., unsoldering) one of the two DIMM
sockets from the PCB to see if perhaps this will provide sufficient
clearance around the SA-110...) Any suggestions??
