If you're looking for realtime audio processing of this nature, I would suggest you examine jMax. http://www.ircam.fr/jmax/ http://mamalala.de/ It's rather hard to install, but worth the effort. It's an incredibly versatile high-level realtime environment for sound and midi processing. -Josh
