Adat/Edit is capable of 20 (?), tascam 428 is able to use 24. But, I would
have to get the kernel usb guys to implement the usb midi class. and add
the 24 bit format. I thought I might have to use alsa in some way, to get
it going, but it seems, supposedly, usb handles all the i/o
