[linux-audio-dev] What version of ALSA works with aRts?

I am trying to compile aRts standalone with ALSA .9beta3 and I get
compile errors.

Chokes on both .5.2 release and the current snapshot as of lastnight.

Whats the latest version of ALSA that someone has working with aRts?
