You are missing the "just" which makes them correlated and means that either dbus (at least its usage in jack) can't add functionality or it is not a plain communication layer but more. Here in this thread of the discussion 1 and 2 are contradictionary and really can't be true at the same time. If you don't understand this, you don't understand logic. (a=>b) Arnold
