Adding hook scripts sounds like good idea. The problem is when they are executed. ladish model is more complex and there is no simple startup/shutdown. There is startup of studio and load of a project in a room. Both are sequences of operations. So there have to be pre and post hooks. Same applies for shutdown hooks.
