Hi there :) Better later than never... just wanted to let you know about the existence of a live dvd/usb that, I hope, may interess some linux audio adictos here :)

JACK2 combined with Ladish/Laditools is used as default sound server (you may need first to set up phonon to prefer JACK over Alsa for KDE related apps) Don't hesitate to give it a try and for sure, any feedback more than welcome.
