afaik, Clip/Split only splits one clip at a time. usually the one you
last clicked (which includes right-clicking for context menu). or the
one where the playhead is located on current track ... one and only.
i'll be (i'm always) interested on walking through all the steps
necessary to get that "weird" behavior reproduced. are you sure telling
the whole story?
