After looking at this again, I decided to yank out the type_id tracking for jack ports, since this type_id wasn't actually used for anything. Proper detection and optional inclusion of jack/session.h has been added as well. AFAICT, this should take care of the last of the jack1 issues. Could you try the latest in v0.14.97-dev and let me know how it goes?
