hello everyone !

lately a number of mails have bounced from people who apparently use
their home machines as mail hosts.
many people have ADSL or cable lines with an almost permanent
connection and use dynamic dns services to make their hosts
reachable from the internet. this is however not very reliable.

please do not subscribe dyndns addresses to lad. get a mail account
on a high-availablity machine with true permanent internet access
instead.
you can easily set up forward routines to collect all mail on your
favourite host, but it's a nuisance for lists when mails bounce each
time you boot into a new kernel ;)

regards,

jrn
