This is my paper - I didn't actually mean for it to get widespread release
yet as it is going to be presented at the upcoming ICMC but I was just
updating my web page and I added it (normally people don't really look at my
web page I don't think, but I just posted a link to it for another paper).
Anyway, Linux was the 'best' but MacOS X CoreAudio was very good as well. The
difference was less than half a millisecond, so I don't think it is
practically important. Also good was Windows 2000 and MacOS 9 with ASIO.
