hello LADers !
a little while after the initial rumours, the linux-audio-user (LAU)
mailing list is finally taking off.
we have had a little bit of media coverage by lwn.net and dave
phillips' "musings" page, and people have begun noticing and joining
the list.
one of the goals of the LAU list, besides handling typical users'
problems, is "being in touch with the developers (without clobbering
the LAD list with newbie FAQs :)".
for this reason, _i'm_inviting_all_of_you_to_join_LAU_ as well, if
your spare time permits.
expert lurkers will be required to make the list a useful knowledge
resource from the very beginning, before it has reached a critical
mass of its own.
for your convenience, there are both normal and digest versions
available.
