I just browsed David Griesinger's papers at his homepage (search with google, say). There is a paper (AES '92?) which gives angles for different microphone types for achieving uncorrelated recordings. Is that something Ambisonics is about? Anyway, Griesinger has a patent on some matrix, and his papers deals with surround sounds. Something close anyway. :-) Regards, Juhana
