Should LAD list ignore you and the like if they post binaries to the list? A html encoded mail (with or without images or other binary files) is not wanted here. A html mail with images embedded (i.e., the whole mail is encoded) is most likely not read at all due decoding problems. MS Word mails are major turn outs. Additional images and files should be placed to webpages, but mails such as "Please read my mail from <given URL>." are again major turn outs. Archiving of such mails with images in a webpage is a problem. So, one should really think if images are necessary at all. in any case, a textual description of the included images is a good practise! While people (at least I do) collects the material relevant to the LAD, perhaps the official LAD pages could be used for long term archiving of images and other files. Best regards, Juhana
