Thanks again for the collection, Steve (and thanks to the other
contributors too!). Compile went fine, but on 'make install' I got this
report:

ALSA I/O error: open_alsa_io: snd_ctl_open[0]: No such device or address
What's going on there ? I'm using ALSA 0.9.0beta10, if it matters...
