Hello, dear LAD readers,
some of you may have heard of the upcoming largest Linux event in Europe, the LinuxTag in Karlsruhe, Germany, from June 6th to 9th (that is, starting next Thursday). I'd just like to invite you to visit the fair because LAD will have a small booth there where we are going to show some of our favourite tools and applications. Among the booth staff are Jrn Nettingsmeier, host of your beloved LAU/LAD/LAA mailing lists, Steve Harris, author of some very nice LADSPA plugins, Takashi Iwai and Dr. Matthias Nagorni from the ALSA team at SuSE and some more folks like the Glame developer team (though only on Saturday/Sunday). We are in the "Gartenhalle", booth A24, and I'd love to welcome you there, no matter if it's just for saying "Hello, I'm a LAD reader" or for discussing problems/applications/future developments etc. We have no fixed timeline like "demo at 9 and 11 A.M." - instead it's once again the community (you) that can help make this a success by creating fruitful discussions. More informations about the LinuxTag can be found at http://www.linuxtag.org. We hope to meet you at LinuxTag in Karlsruhe - see you! Frank Neumann, on behalf of the "LAD booth team". PS: Oh, and we have free "Linux Audio Developer" stickers, courtesy of Patrick Shirkey! :-) -- Frank Neumann ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), VIONA Development Center STMicroelectronics, Karlstrae 27, 76133 Karlsruhe
