Make it three! ttrk is just about perfect at doing what it does. It's by far the best tracker I've ever used, mainly due to the fact that it doesn't scroll as it plays, so you can edit in real-time in a much less fiddly way than most trackers. Having working midi sync is a big bonus too. I have actually done some minor hacking of the user interface -- I've been meaning to send you the code for ages, but I can't do it for a while becuase I am not in the same country as my linux box.
