Invent? I can't see how anyone would call protocol development 'inventing'. But then, this is the USPTO, whose idiocy my mind seems to be continually numbed by. I was going to say "I feel sorry for you US passport holders", but I notice "Intern'l Class: G01H 007/00". Oh dear. Does anyone know if this means the patent is effective in coutries that honour international patents? The Help pages don't reflect their title. And by the by, what on earth is going on with this? What's going on to do something about this situation? It seems many people are aware of the USPTO's idiocy, yet they are still allowed to carry on being idiots. Why are people letting them?
