Cycling 74 is going to charge you US$395 to add "video/matrix/3d" to max/msp, when Pd can do this already, for free ... admittedly, it includes support for Quicktime. I don't know how good the current gem stuff for Pd is, but it seems to me that Pd needs a headline at Harmony Central. --p
