Just as a footnote to all this, and kind of making the thread a bit irrelevant for the moment, something with higher priority has come in the way of magic in my todo list: yet another sequencer, as hinted at by the previously posted scans. Assuming someone else doesn't take the lead in a magic stack project, (which would obviate my wish to,) it'll be some time before I make a crack at it.
