So it's not worth dreaming of a DSP-powered PureData synth... Let's turn the problem inside-out: I could still create a PureData module that could convert its native patches to the DSP power C/C+ synth!
Why do you want to do this anyway? x86 based systems are ridiculously fast and cheap.
I'm not absolutely positive, but I'm pretty sure nothing beats x86 when it comes to price/performance. What benefit are you seeking by running PD on a DSP??
